Finding an earlier test time only helps if you are ready when it comes. Drive in Sweden takes care of the first part. For the second, we built a sister app: Drive Test.
What Drive Test is
Drive Test is a study app for Swedish driving and taxi exams. You can use it on iPhone, on Android or in the browser. It covers:
- The theory test for a car licence (B-körkort)
- The taxi driver licence (taxiförarlegitimation): map reading, traffic and safety, and professional knowledge
- The taxi company licence (yrkeskunnande)
How it helps you study
- Exam-style questions. Practise on questions written in the style of the real tests.
- Explanations for every answer. Understand why an answer is right, not just which one it is.
- An AI tutor. Ask about the questions you find hard and get an explanation in your own words.
- Different ways to practise. Practice mode, your own custom tests, and review of the questions you got wrong.
- Read aloud. Text-to-speech in several languages, useful if Swedish is not your first language.
- Bookmarks. Save tricky questions and come back to them.
- Progress stats. Charts show which areas you master and where you lose points.
A simple study plan
- Weeks before the test: read your theory book once, then start practising in Drive Test every day. Short sessions work best.
- Review your mistakes: use review mode for the questions you got wrong, and read the explanations properly.
- Find your weak areas: check the stats and spend extra time where you score lowest.
- The last week: take full practice tests under time pressure, so the real test feels familiar.
Drive in Sweden plus Drive Test
The two apps work well together:
- Drive in Sweden watches Trafikverket and tells you the moment a free test time opens up, so you can book an earlier test.
- Drive Test makes sure you are ready for that test when the day comes.
